The Skills Team Group was established in 2011 and represents the Social Pillar of the Facilitas Group’s focusing on Development and Growth of People.

The Skills Team Group offer a range of services supporting people opportunities to upskill and progress in their careers, supporting people experiencing long term unemployment and providing training services to a wide range of demographics.

The type of training we provide is in the following areas:

• Personal Development
• Corporate Training
• Health & Safety Training
• Healthcare Training
• Hospitality Training

Our training courses can be delivered in the classroom, online or a blend of both, depending on the client’s requirement to maximising the learner’s experience, efficient use of time and in line with budgetary constraints.

The other element of our business is our Talent Support Services, which is currently provided to the DEASP in partnership with Seetec and known as JobPath.

We work with the long term unemployed and provide them with the supports and resources necessary to enable them to find suitable and sustainable employment.  This is achieved by working on a one-to-one basis with the Job Seeker over a period of one year.  Initially, the barriers to employment are established and a plan is devised to overcome these obstacles by providing relevant training, coaching and mentoring.

In addition, we forge relationships with local employers so that we have the opportunity to provide them with suitably skilled labour at no recruitment cost to them.
